The Prison Uniform is something Warehouse & Co have been reproducing for the last 10 years or so, in various forms and styles. The design is borrowed from the classic American Coverall or Chore Jacket & simplified for mass production.Â
These Prisoner Jackets are characterised by the thick horizontal border stripes and Warehouse & Co have faithfully replicated this, using vintage power looms. Attributes of vintage workwear are present throughout with pattern-matching pockets with the same border as the fabric of the body. Cut in Japan from a sulfur dyed, one-wash selvedge duck cotton canvas, the Lot. 2155 features a four button front and two lower patch pockets, while a simple prison contract label completes the look.Â
