Vasco Leather Document Briefcase Natural
Forming part of Vasco’s ‘Old Oil’ series, whereby fully vegetable tanned leather form the Himeji Tannery is dyed using a traditional hand-dying process called Hill Dying. Through the ageing process, the leather has been given an almost vintage like texture and appearance.Â
The Document Briefcase is inspired by one found dating from around the 1930’s. Cut from a cowhide leather in Vasco’s small studio in Tokyo to their usual high standards. The bag has a vintage like feel with the leather and solid brass studs used. A small, short handle is complete with a fully cotton lined interior with two separate compartments.Â
