Soundman Morgan Jacket Khaki
Japanese brand Soundman have made a name for themselves, creating unique clothing with a classical twist. Here we have the Morgan Jacket, their first outerwear piece for Spring Summer 24.Â
The Morgan Jacket from Soundman is new for SS24 and fuses together two celebrated US Airforce Jackets from different eras. Cut in Japan from a neppy cotton canvas, meaning you can see the cotton fibres on the surface of the fabric.Â
The small shawl collar design and zip front is borrowed from the MIL-J-7758A Summer Weight Flight Jacket but updated for modern wear. A two way Universal zip front is used to provide added room and comfort for the wearer and finished with canvas pull cord.
The pocket detailing is borrowed from a 70’s issue US Air Force CWU-7 that incorporates the use of two chest pockets & two lower pockets. These are all finished with button flap closure while other military designs such as elbow patches and action pleats are added. Button cuff adjusters have been added to aid fit while a woven branded patch completes the look.Â
