LFC Makoto Miyazaki Morenci Ring
The stone used in this piece is from the Morenci mine of Arizona and is regarded as producing finest turquoise to have ever been uncovered and some of the first to be producedfor the open market. Known for it’s variety of colour and bedrock matrix, the stonetends to have a light blue colour deepening to a dark blue for some higher grade stonesand is highly sought after. The black pyrite matrix tends to be irregular, which when polished shines silver to black, though there are some very rare quartz matrix patterns which are ultimatelydesirable because of the mines depletion.
