Daniel Ricciardo 2021 McLaren MCL35M 1:8 Scale Model – Italian GP
Add this magnificent 1:8 scale model of Daniel Ricciardo’s McLaren MCL35M to your collection, an authentic reproduction of his race-winning car from the 2021 Italian Grand Prix.
McLaren Makes Monza
The MCL35M was the successor of the MCL35 which was built for the 2020 season. Used in 2021, with Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris – their first season as teammates – the MCL35M became one of the most competitive cars on the grid and regularly finished high in the points.
The MCL35M was seen as an upgraded version of the previous season McLaren. During the season it set two fastest laps, claimed pole position and scored five podiums. On top of this the car took McLaren’s first win since 2012, following numerous challenging seasons, plus their first 1-2 finish since 2010. Not only this but McLaren were the only team to achieve a 1-2 in 2021 – an incredible achievement in a season so competitive.
This brilliant result came at the 2021 Italian Grand Prix, where Australian ace Daniel Ricciardo claimed his first victory since his Red Bull days. It would be his first and only win for McLaren as he departed the team the following season (at the end of 2022). His British teammate Lando Norris claimed the second-place spot, for a memorable race in Monza.
