The Original Type A-4 Knit Cap was originally issued in an olive-drab colour-way made from 100% worsted wool. The original A-4 Knit Cap has a unique construction, with the top forming six sewn segments, using a more dense wool than other issued hats.
This Knit Cap style from Buzz Rickson’s is a collaboration with the esteemed William Gibson, meaning everything is issued in black. All detailing throughout is present whereby all the classic construction is true to the originals, but the colour has been modified.
