Buzz Rickson’s Gold Tiger Stripe Trousers
The Tiger Stripe camouflage pattern is one of the most distinctive camo designs in military clothing history and was used exclusively in Vietnam by US Special Forces. Buzz Rickson’s have faithfully reproduced this style for SS24 in the form of their Lot. BR41903 Gold Tiger Stripe Trousers.Â
As normal with vintage military issued garments details varied hugely depending on the year of production. Some would be issued with button fly or zip fly, drawcord hems and so on.Â
The Lot. BR41903 have been cut from 100% cotton in Japan and come in a mid-weight fabric. Issued during the Vietnam war, it was thought the Gold Tiger Stripe Camo would offer better protection than the original Olive Drab OG 107. Buzz Rickson’s have replicated the two slash pockets, two cargo pockets, cigarette pocket, two rear cargo pockets and a button fly. Two button adjusters on the waist and a straight silhouette completes the look.Â
