New from Buzz Rickson’s for the Autumn/Winter season is their Rayon Scarf, falling under their Aviation Associates label (whereby they reproduce garments from the 1920’s – 1940’s when various types of contract issue items were readily available to the public).Â
The Rayon Scarf from Buzz Rickson’s is inspired by the prolific neckwear manufacturer Tootal, proving incredibly popular in the 1940’s & beyond. These styles were popular with both British and American Pilots during WW2 & can be seen in many photographs from the time, worn with their contract flying jackets to prevent wind from entering through their collars.Â
Made in Japan to Buzz Rickson’s exacting standards, this scarf is made from 100% rayon & features a classic vintage pattern throughout and finished with a woven Buzz Rickson’s Aviation Associates label.Â
