Alden Tobacco Chamois Indy Boots M2904
Â
Alden has been producing Made in USA footwear for well over a century now. An icon of American footwear, Alden was founded in 1884 by Charles H Alden in Massachusetts and remains there to this day.Â
The Indy Work Boot from Alden is one of Alden’s most popular and iconic styles. Nicknamed the ‘Indy’ after Harrison Ford famously wore the boots in the ‘Indiana Jones’ films, they remain an American icon to this day.
These are constructed from a Reverse Chamois suede sourced from the infamous Horween Leather Co Tannery in Chicago. Reverse Chamois is the Roughout version of the Chamois leather, where the flesh is used instead of the grain. The Chamois is a vegetable re-tanned leather, generously nourished with an intense rich blend of natural oils to create a rich and oily feel.
This exclusive Indy Boots also features a fully goodyear welted natural ‘plantation’ crepe sole finished with a brass-tacked leather toe portion. A versatile and beautifully constructed boot that will be sure to last a lifetime, getting better with age.Â
The M2904 is built on Alden’s trubalance last with a D width fitting and also features the signature moc stitch, speed-hook & eyelets as well as a mahogany storm welt while a dual branded insole completes the look. The trubalance last tends to run large so we suggest taking a half or full size down from your usual shoe size.Â
