Allevol Ernest Utility Trousers Indigo
Here we have the long awaited Ernest Utility Trousers from Allevol, a new item introduced for this SS22.
The Allevol Ernest Utility Trousers are an update on the classic denim work pants worn by the U.S. Navy in the 1930’s & 40’s. This Utility Pant or ‘Seaman’s’ Pant worn in the 40’s has become one of the most iconic denim garments worn by the U.S. Navy during WWII and original examples have become collector’s pieces.
The Indigo Ernest Utility Trousers have been cut in the UK from a subtle blend of cotton and linen with a rope dyed indigo cotton warp x french linen weft that has been woven in Japan and feature a number of details similar to the original examples. The Ernest features the signature ‘Baker’ pant style pockets on the front, as well as two rear pockets on the reverse. A button fly has been paired with a high rise and wide silhouette while an original Allevol branded label adorns the waistband.
