Prior to 2019, McLaren had been enduring one of their worst periods in their long F1 history. The start of 2019 saw a mindset shift for the team. The arrival of Lando Norris and Zak Brown would mark the beginning of a new era.Â
Lando Norris took the wheel of the MCL34 for the beginning of the season and immediately impressed. In just his second race for the team Lando Norris scored his first points for the team with an impressive P6 at the Bahrain GP.Â
